Founded in 1928, PioneerCare provides a spectrum of services to promote health and well-being for older adults and others managing chronic conditions.
PioneerCare offers short term rehabilitative therapy, long term skilled nursing care, specialized memory care, and home-based services to support independent living in our housing with services and in the greater community.
Any given day, with a dedicated staff of close to 300, PioneerCare supports the needs of over 800 people within our living settings and in the community.
PioneerCare Center serves up to 105 people, providing short term therapy and long term skilled care.
Pioneer Cottages provides exceptional memory care for up to 70 people in Fergus Falls and Breckenridge, Minnesota.
Pioneer Pointe, with 44 apartments, provides housing with services customized to the needs of the individual.
PioneerLink brings in-home assistive technology to homes in 17 counties, primarily in west central Minnesota.
While PioneerCare is a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the organization serves people of all faiths and beliefs. All are welcome.
Sponsoring congregations include Augustana, Bethlehem, First, Hope, and Zion Lutheran Churches in Fergus Falls. Representatives from each church participate in PioneerCare’s governance.
PioneerCare leadership includes three boards of directors, each with their unique function to support the mission: Corporate Board, Foundation Board, and Auxiliary Board.
