Late last year, Pastor David Strom announced his plans to retire this month as chaplain. David began serving in that role about five years ago and has brought his talent for relational ministry to residents, their families, and staff at Pioneer.
Last week, Pioneer Cottages residents made a fingerprint tree as a gift for Pastor David Strom, who retired earlier this week as Chaplain for PioneerCare. Khila Muchow, the activities coordinator at the Cottages, led the project. Each colored “leaf” on the tree is a different resident’s fingerprint – a fitting gift representing the imprint each makes on one another’s lives.
